The Saudi Agriculture and Livestock Investment Company “SALIC,” wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund “PIF”, organized a week-long training workshop on “cyber security” for all of its employees at SALIC HQ.
The workshop aims to increase awareness of cybersecurity by understanding cyber threats that lead to the violation of personal or confidential data, posing risks to organizations and individuals. It also aims to familiarize participants with potential information security risks and threats, as well as strategies for protection.
The training workshops aligns with the rapid acceleration of digital transformation, which has increased rates of cyber-attacks and data breaches. This necessitates the importance of ensuring a secure environment for data through a robust security system and raising awareness of the seriousness of these threats.
