The CEO of the Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company “SALIC” Eng. Sulaiman Al-Rumaih received on Thursday, December 8th, 2022, the Thai Ambassador to the Kingdom, Mr. Dam Bontam, the CEO of CPF company, and his accompanying delegation in the presence of SALIC officials. 

Alrumaih started the meeting by giving a snapshot of SALIC’s strategic objectives, its local and global investments, the targeted strategic food commodities, in addition to the role it plays in achieving the food security strategy in the Kingdom.  After that, an open discussion followed on strengthening relations between the two companies and discussing joint investment opportunities. 

SALIC hosted the delegation of the Thai company CPF in the Kingdom, where the delegation visited several companies in different regions, including one of the projects of the Almarai Company in Hail, the Saudi Fish Company project in Al-Huraidah, King Abdullah Economic City, and the Naqwa Company in Al-Leith. 

It’s noteworthy that the Thai company CPF is considered one of the largest international companies that run an integrated business for the agricultural and food industries specializing in the fish sector.  It has 147 thousand employees worldwide, with annual revenue estimated at 17 billion US dollars, CPF exports its products to 40 countries worldwide.
