His excellency, the ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, appointed in the Republic of Singapore, Mr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Madhi received his excellency, the CEO of SALIC, Eng. Suleiman bin AbdulRahman Al Rumaih.

During the meeting, an introductory overview of SALIC and its strategic directions was presented, in addition to its national and international investments, besides its role as a major contributor to the food security strategy in the Kingdom.

The meeting highlighted SALIC’s investment in the Singaporean company Olam, one of the global leaders in the grain, rice, animal feed, and food oils trade.

In the past month. SALIC announced the agreement to acquire 35.43% of Olam Agri Holding for SAR 4,65 billion, the transaction is expected to be completed during 2022 after obtaining the required approvals from the relevant international authorities.
