New Zealand Ambassador Visits SALIC

The CEO of the Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company (SALIC) Eng. Sulaiman bin Abdulrahman Al-Rumaih received today, Thursday, September 28, 2023, His Excellency Mr. Barney Riley, the Ambassador of New Zealand to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, along with Mr. Joel Sims, the New Zealand Trade Commissioner, at SALIC’s headquarters in Riyadh, in the presence of several company officials.

During the meeting, discussions revolved around exploring and enhancing cooperation opportunities, as well as reviewing investment prospects in the field of agriculture and livestock between the two countries. At the conclusion of the visit, commemorative shields were exchanged.

It is worth noting that New Zealand is distinguished by its moderate climate and a significant reliance on its primary industries, particularly the export of food-based primary products to over two hundred markets worldwide. Furthermore, New Zealand boasts some of the world’s leading research and educational institutions specializing in agricultural and food research.
