SALIC Concludes its Participation in the Saudi International Marine Exhibition

SALIC, one of the Public Investment Fund’s subsidiaries, has concluded its participation in the 3-day Saudi International Marine Exhibition organized in Riyadh by the National Livestock& Fisheries Development Program.

During the exhibition period, the SALIC pavilion witnessed many meetings with ambassadors and global and local companies. SALIC also presented a workshop as part of the exhibition program entitled “SALIC and Empowering the Local Sector”, where The Senior VP of Local Investment Development at SALIC Mr. Samer AlSourani reviewed the strategic orientations regarding support and empowerment through investing in the value chain and modern technologies with the aim of increasing productive capacity and improving efficiency. He also noted the various challenges facing the sector in general in terms of food security systems.

It’s noteworthy that the third edition of the Saudi International Marine Exhibition aims to provide an annual platform that brings together international expertise, global experiences and modern technologies in the fields of aquaculture, fisheries, seaweed and feeds. The exhibition featured the participation of 35 countries represented by more than 120 global and local companies.
