SALIC Gold Sponsor at the Saudi International Marine Exhibition 2023

SALIC, one of the Public Investment Fund’s subsidiaries, is participating in the second edition of the Saudi International Marine Exhibition 2023 in Dhahran. The exhibition will span over three days starting from June 4th, 2023, and will feature the participation of local and international companies in the aquaculture sector.

This event marks the first specialized marine exhibition in the Kingdom, aimed at showcasing the latest developments in seafood products and the newest technologies in aquaculture. It serves as a meeting point for companies, experts, and specialists in the field, contributing to the advancement of the aquaculture sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and achieving its targets outlined in Vision 2030 to become a sustainable economic contributor that ensures local food security.

It’s noteworthy that the estimated private sector investments in the aquaculture sector by 2030 amount to SAR 17 billion, with a projected production of 600,000 tons. Meanwhile, the domestic demand for seafood products in the Kingdom is estimated at 282,000 tons.
