“SALIC” receives Minister of Agrarian of Ukraine

The CEO of SALIC, Eng. Sulaiman bin Abdulrahman AlRumaih, and several SALIC officials received today Wednesday the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Ukraine Mr. Roman Leshchenko and his delegation.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Ukrainian minister was briefed on introductory presentation about SALIC that included its strategic directions and its role in the field of food security through its local and global investments. also, the two sides touched on the development of current investment opportunities and ways to enhance them, as Mr. Roman Leshchenko stressed that Saudi Arabia is one of the most prominent strategic commercial partners, including agricultural investment in Ukraine, describing the experience of SALIC investment in Ukraine as a success story for both countries.

It is noteworthy that SALIC has been managing approximately 200K of hectares of agricultural land in western Ukraine through “Continental Farms Group”, which is wholly owned by SALIC since 2019. The group produces many basic food commodities, and its agricultural operations include the production is 1 million of tons of grain annually.
