SALIC is committed to protecting the whistleblower identity from unauthorized, or unnecessary disclosure as well as retaliation against him/her that may arise from reporting this incident. A whistleblower must be informed that he/she is forbidden from discussing any matter of the reported incident as disclosure might affect the course of investigating it.

- SALIC must hide the identity of the whistleblower who disclosed his/her identity and take great care to keep it confidential. The process of dealing with reports depends on ensuring the confidentiality of any information they contain.
- SALIC must ensure that it takes all necessary measures to protect the whistleblower who has disclosed his/her identity and has filed a report in good faith using the report handling procedure and ensure that he is not exposed to any negative reactions from colleagues, managers, or other interested parties.
- Any employee who reports in good faith any violation of the Code of Business Conduct, Company policies and procedures, or applicable laws and regulations shall not be subject to discrimination of any kind, including, but not limited to, harassment, retaliation, hostility, or reputational actions.
