“SALIC,” one of the Public Investment Fund subsidiaries, signed a memorandum of understanding with Al-Faisal University on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, in Riyadh. The memorandum was signed at the premises of Al-Faisal University between the CEO of “SALIC,” Eng. Sulaiman bin Abdulrahman Alrumaih, and Her Royal Highness Dr. Maha bint Meshari bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Deputy President for External Relations and Development at the university. The signing ceremony was attended by several officials from both entities. 

The MoU aims to foster academic and professional cooperation between the two organizations, focusing on knowledge transfer, training, and development for university students. Additionally, it seeks to create a range of programs and activities of mutual interest through scientific studies and research, the development of social responsibility programs, and the exploration of leading local and global experiences. 

It’s worth noting that “SALIC” intends to collaborate with various government and private entities in the fields of food security development and the localization of modern technologies. This collaborative effort aligns with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, aiming to achieve aspirations and goals through institutional integration.
