The acting CEO of the Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company “SALIC”, Mr. Mohammed bin Mansour Al-Mousa, received on Sunday, July 30, 2023 His Excellency the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Mr. Carlos Henrique Baqueta Fávaro, along with His Excellency the Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil to the Kingdom, Mr. Sérgio Bath, and their accompanying delegation, at SALIC’s headquarters in Riyadh, in the presence of SALIC’s officials. 

This visit comes to discuss areas of cooperation in the food security sector and to leverage bilateral expertise in agriculture and livestock. It also reflects the commitment of both sides to enhancing sustainable development prospects.  

It’s worth mentioning that “SALIC” has been investing in the Federative Republic of Brazil since 2016. Investments include the leading global company in the red meat field “Minerva Foods”, and “BRF” one of the major global companies in the poultry field. “SALIC” aims according to its strategy, to access animal protein sources, seeking to achieve the targets of food security in this sector at both local and global levels.
